The Design:

The 9th Pennsylvania Reserve Monument (38th Pennsylvania Infantry), which stands at the southern base of Little Round Top, is one of my favorite monuments on the battlefield. It depicts a Union soldier looking down at the grave of a fallen comrade. This art is based upon a photo that I took and uses a sepia tone.
