Description
The Design:
A watercolor style artistic variation of a photograph taken in the Ossuary at Brno in the Czech Republic. In 2001, a large ossuary, which held the remains of over 50,000 people, was rediscovered under the city of Brno. Being the second largest ossuary ever discovered in Europe, a portion of it was opened for public visitation. The bones were rearranged in an appealing and artistic way, while still being respectful of the dead. As a result, the ossuary is now a fascinating place to visit and ponder that fate that has always faced humanity.
